Chapter 7

Jane was still working at the pub when she saw Rick and his gang. This time, instead of four or five people, Rick brought along dozens of gangsters.
'Something for all of them to drink!' shouted Rick, before proceeding to tell the rest of his gang, 'My treat!'
Meanwhile, one of the thugs looked at Jane. 'Come drink with me, my little lady.'
'I'm busy, I've got things to do.'
'Come on, don't be shy.' said the thug as he reached his hand out to her.
'No, I'm busy, I gotta go.' said Jane, who hoped she could get away from this man as fast as possible.
There was an evil glare in the man's eye, and he pounced on Jane.
'NO! Help! Don't! NOOOOO!" Jane screamed.

As Joseph played Ben's game, Ben looked at Joash and Rachel.
'What were your discussing just now?' asked Ben.
'Well, we were praying for a friend.' replied Rachel.
Something prompted Ben to pop his question.
'May I know your friend's name?'
'Rick.' answered Joash.
'Rick Peter?'
'How did you know?' asked the suprised Joash, 'well, he's a gangster anyway.'
'I know that.' replied Peter, 'I was working as a P.I for his dad.'

At the pub, Jane tried with all her might to push the man off, but to no avail. Out of the blue came a shout.
'STOP THAT!'
'NO! SHE'S MINE!'
It was Rick. He gave that thug a brutal punch on the face. Blood flowed as the thug spat teeth.
'You'll PAY!' shouted the thug, as he drew his blade.
'Be careful!' screamed Jane.
Rick kicked the man's hand, sending the knife onto the floor. He then elbowed the man in the chest.
'This will teach you to respect a girl next time!' said Rick, as he dealt a final low, sending the man crashing onto the floor.
He then turned to ask Jane, 'Lady, are you ok?'
'Yea,' said Jane as Rick turned,'Thanks!'
'No prob.'

Joash suddenly remembered Joseph's birthday.
'Wanna buy a gift for your brother? His birthday is approaching.' asked Joash.
'Sure! Let's go then.' replied Rachel.
'Hey Ben, we're going out to shop for something!' said Rachel.
Ben looked at them and smiled. Being cheeky, Joseph shouted, 'Enjoy your date!'
Both Joash and Rachel blushed, and they laughed.
